Keeping Clam!

Feeling pity for my sad old dad (just kidding pop) I decided to go razor clamming on the coast this week with said individual. We dug on Sunday and Monday at Roosevelt beach, and had no problem finding our quarry. The tides where in the afternoon but not too late that we need the lantern. It poured all the way there, but as we arrived the sky's cleared revealing a beautifully day. It took all of about 30 minutes to catch our limit of 15 clams each. We did do some cruising on the Honda 110's but some one was to cold so that was short lived. There was nothing resembling a crowd (I suspect the super bowl had something to do with that) so we didn't feel any rush to start digging. On Monday the tide wasn't until 17:00 so we had lots of time to goof off. We ended up at Westport looking for some dungeoness crab. We wound our way up the coast back to the same beach and again digging was easy. On the way out we where treated to a spectacular sunset. I'll let the pictures speak for them selves. I shot allot of them so I'll feed you a few at a time.

Enjoy!
