Another view.
Jerry

A young blacktail deer. This is a very rare "pinto" coloring. I't a genetic trait. Most of the deer born thi color never make it past the first year.

I hate it when you have some one looking over your shoulder telling you how to fish.

Fork's Washington

Looks like things are back to normal, for now. I seem to be able to upload pictures again.....

Any how, I just got back from Forks again. This time I spent two days there. It was cold again as well. Fishing was slow as can be expected with the air temps not hardly getting into the 40's for the last two weeks and the lack of precip, What I'm saying is the water is low, really low. I did pick up a nice little hatchery buck down at the tall-timbers hole on the Bogachiel. I lost another in the same hole, and believe it or not I hit them drift fishing! I had to try out my new Loomis 1085 IMX. There was a little excitement on the river, one of the guy's who had launched earlier in the day managed to flip their boat in the icebox hole. He apparently decided to take the right side of the rapids and in this water height he found a large boulder. They made it to shore alright but they lost all of the tackle they had on board. Lesson learned? I did see the coastguard helicopter hovering in the distance. I'll bet they where cold! Hope every one has a safe new year!
